Religious Education at Endeavour High School aims to teach and to provoke thought. It teaches students about Christianity, its history, its beliefs and its influences. It also teaches Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism, so that students may gain an understanding of the major world religions. Other views are also treated with respect - eg, Humanism and Agnosticism.
Students are encouraged to think about what it means to believe in something, what they and others around them may believe, and about the importance of religious freedom and tolerance.
Religious Education follows the Agreed Syllabus (SACRE 2000).
