SEX EDUCATION

Sex Education is taught as part of the Personal and Social Education course.  Biological aspects are taught as part of the Year 7 Science course.  The more sensitive issues relating to personal relationships are part of the Year 9 programme, although they may be discussed in other years.  The need for moral responsibility is a constant theme, and the benefits of a stable relationship and family life are to be stressed.
